Summer: Enjoy relaxing Adirondack sunsets by the lakeside campfire, while all the stresses of your daily life melt away.
Spend your days out on the waters enjoying boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking.
Three area public boat launches, and three marinas with boat rentals provide easy access to the clear Adirondack waters of the Fulton Chain of Lakes. The Fulton Chain of Lakes is a series of 13 connected lakes with well over 200 miles of shoreline.
One mile away in the Town of Inlet is Arrowhead Park with its sandy beach, children’s playground, tennis courts, picnic area and scenic cruises on Fourth Lake. The area provides activities for everyone in the family including unique shops in both the Town of Inlet and Old Forge.
Inlet Golf Course sits just outside of town in the rolling hills of the Adirondacks. A full service pro shop and restaurant are on site. Thendara Golf Club is a short 15 minutes away in Thendara NY. The Thendara Golf Club is Donald Ross designed championship golf course. It is an18-hole, par 72 course carved right out of the natural beauty of the central Adirondacks.
There are miles and miles of State hiking trails, no matter wht your level of ability there are trails for you. From the breathtaking vistas of Rocky Mountain, Bald Mountain or Black Bear Mountain to the meandering trails of Moss Lake, the experience is something you will not soon forget.
Autumn:
Fall foliage is spectacular, if you can just imagine millions of trees in their brilliant orange, red and yellow colors spreading across the Adirondack region.
This is a quieter special time in the region allowing many to enjoy the great shopping, dining, kayaking, boating and hiking in a more relaxed atmosphere.
This is one experience you will never forget!
Winter:
Snowmobile on over 500 miles of groomed packed trails. This is a perfect snowmobile destination with trail side dining, fueling, entertainment and accommodations. All in all this is a great winter snowmobile location!
Cross country skiing and downhill skiing at McCaully Mountain and area trails.
Snowshoe on all the local hiking trails while enjoying the quiet winter woods!
Ice skate and sled at nearby Fern Park in Inlet.
